Sakuragi (桜樹 Sakuragi) is a character introduced in Plunderer. He is the second lieutenant of Althea Royal Guard and member of special troop, known as Gefängnis, which works under Jail Murdoch's orders.

Sakuragi is originally a criminal captured by Jail Murdoch. He later joined part with Gefängnis troop under Jail's suggestion.

Special Service Arc[]
It's first noted by Alexandrov Grigorovich that most of soldiers left Althea after Jail Murdoch deserted the Althea Royal Guard. Sakuragi is one of the soldiers that left the army.
Sakuragi warns the spy
Sakuragi first appeared at Chapter 49, under Jail's order, he and the other Gefängnis members went to saves Sakai Tokikaze, Erin and the children from White Special Service. After Sakuragi saved the children, he uses his ability to destroys a brunch of airplanes. The spy of White Special Service were shocked at Sakuragi's laser attacks. After being told that he was bald, Sakuragi was angered and told that spy that he will be kill him soon.
After seeing the other member angered at Jail's order of forbidden killing, along with Asher Lyubov told the other member that they will kill her for not following Jail's order.
Last War Arc[]
Sakuragi is later ordered by Jail to stay on the city with Erin and other two Gefängnis members, as Jail wanted them to protect the children so he must face Robert Du Vanvich and his army all by himself. Despite the order, along with other two Gefängnis members still following Jail's behind without noticing.
When Nana Bassler and other children almost attacked by Althea Royal Guard's soldiers, Sakuragi went to save them together with other two Gefängnis members. Soon, Jail realized the Gefängnis troop keep following behind him, so he order them to stay outside Althea to protect children. Although Sakuragi asks him if he really wanted to face the army by himself, since without other member's help Jail will most likely die in the army's hands. After Jail kissed Nana and enters the city, Sakuragi and Asher stated that Jail is more harder to be beaten now, due to Nana is now a part of his convictions.
Gefängnis as they enjoys killing their enemies
Three months later, the final battle between Royal Guard and Special Service has finally begun. Along with Jail, the Royal Guard's soldiers went to face against the Special Service troop lead by Nikola. During the war, the Female Soldier and Sakuragi playing Rock Paper Scissors to decide who will handling the air force, in which she won. While she's preparing herself, Sakuragi asked her if she want to fly or not and she agreed, so he uses his ability to makes her fly. As she flying, the Female Soldier thought that this is the perfect chance to introduce herself, but it's soon stopped by Sakuragi by stripping her clothes. As Asher killing people, Sakuragi forced an enemy spy committed suicide in front of Jail with his ability. After Sakuragi killed a spy, he told Jail that he shouldn't holds them back but just simply let them killing people all they wanted, which caused Jail was angered at him. Soon, after Jail realized that the Gefängnis cannot be redeemed, he only felt pity on all the Special Service members that were killed by the Gefängnis, for seeing their conviction of evil and being scared.
Epilogue[]
After the end of final war, Jail disbanded the Gefängnis troop and let the remaining members do whatever they wants. As three years had passed, the former Gefängnis members begin to frustrated due to how peaceful the world had become since Jail was promoted as the king. They wanted to kill people just like in old times, but they can't do anything due to the fact the Ballots being disabled from functionality, thus lost their supernatural powers. Sakuragi described the world as being peaceful but also boring.

Sakuragi's laser attacks manifested from "serve" word
Sakuragi's count is yet to be revealed. According to Alexandrov, he was one of the strongest soldiers of Althea Royal Guard.[1]
- Writing Manifestation: The power to make written words manifest into physical/energy form/action. Sakuragi does this when he destroys the air forces and when he "strips" the Female Soldier's clothes.

- Sakuragi means "cherry blossom" (桜 Sakura) and "tree" (樹 Ki/Gi).
- Sakuragi's name is most likely a reference to Sakurai Tomoki (桜井智樹 Sakurai Tomoki), the main protagonist of Minazuki Suu's previous work, Sora no Otoshimono.
- Based on his name, Sakuragi may be a Japanese.
- While his name is written in kanji, each time Jail mentions Sakuragi's name, his name are often written in katakana (サクラギ) instead.
- Sakuragi's design slightly resemble a Kappa.
- Sakuragi hate someone for calling him a bald.
