He also said that he already felt odd on him the moment when he let Herz and her henchmen to captures the other White Special Service members, when he releases the clones to fight against Licht's group and when he ordered to releases the air forces, when Gespenst can easily handling all of these events all by himself and none of those events even needed to use their trump cards in the first place. Then, he asks Gespenst if he know what's he planning to do and Gespenst answered that he can't because he feel like Clone Schmelman has two minds inside his head. Soon, Clone Schmelman orders Mizuka to kill Gespenst. but unexpectedly she also betrayed him and tried to took Licht's Ballot back to him. LichtFacesSchmelman

Angered Licht comforts Clone Schmelman

Since Tokikaze always felt guilty for never share same pain together with Licht, he make all the clones becomes brainless monsters so Tokikaze could cut their heads down in the similar way as Licht killed the soldiers of United Nations Force 300 years ago. Being angered, Licht went to comforts Schmelman and claims that he is clearly not the same Schmelman that he's familiar with 300 years ago. Before the fight begins, Licht also asked Clone Schmelman that if he is actually fake or not.

After Licht asked Clone Schmelman a question, he tried to pretend he doesn't know what Licht is talking about but he told him stop acting around. Licht said that he has been noticing something's odd about Clone Schmelman way back when he created Althea, like the reason behind him abandoned Class A and how he acts like totally different person than on the past. More importantly, when the real Schmelman appeared on the projectile screen three months ago, he orders the White Special Service to retreat even though he could just use that moment to kill every hostages. Ever since knowing the New Class A's existence, both Licht and Jail came out with the conclusion that the person they're currently talking with is in fact, Schmelman's clone, which shocks Clone Schmelman for them able to figured out his true identity.

Clone Schmelman's death

After Clone Schmelman's true identity has been exposed, Nikola suddenly appeared behind Jail and praised him for able to figured out that this Schmelman is a clone, while Clone Schmelman reveals his true personality and calls him "Mama". Soon, Nikola wants to kill Clone Schmelman as he no longer provide any useful to him. Clone Schmelman tried to protect himself with his ice ability but Nikola easily melt down his ice wall and his neck got snapped by him. Before Clone Schmelman's death, he said that he hope his "Mama" can give him more of "her" love and don't abandon him.

Abilities and Power[]

Like his original, Clone Schmelman doesn't have a count[6]. Based on Gespenst's words and his fight against him on Ende, Clone Schmelman is presumably to be at least on-par with the real Schmelman's strength.

  • Baron's Strikes: Like his original, Clone Schmelman possessed several powers and abilities, although he only shown two of Baron's abilities during his fight against Gespenst.
    • Frost Strike[7] (氷撃 Kōrigeki, Yen Press: Frozen Strike): Like his original, Clone Schmelman possesses the ability to create, shape and manipulate ice.
      • Freezing: Clone Schmelman is able to freeze anything. The freezing ability is strong enough to even freeze flames and bullets, rendering Alexandrov's "Blast" and Mizuka's "Pursuit" useless[8].
      • Cryokinetic: Clone Schmelman can release and surround himself with ice/cold.
      • Ice Wall: Clone Schmelman can create a ice wall to protect himself.
    • Blink Strike (瞬撃 Shungeki): Like his original and Tokikaze, Clone Schmelman can draw her sword faster than light.
      • Speed Cutting: Clone Schmelman can draw his sword and attack in the speed of light.
  • Superhuman Strength: Like his original, Clone Schmelman's physical strength is superior to Taketora and he can easily physically overpower him and withstand his "Heavy" ability with little effort. A well known example of Clone Schmelman's immense strength is seen when he was able to lift Gespenst and drag him across a room with a single finger.
  • Superhuman Speed: Like his original, Clone Schmelman is shown to possess immense superhuman speed. It's stated by Gespent that in terms of speed, both the original and Clone Schmelman could easily keep up with Licht's "Flash" and easily out draw Tokikaze's "Blink" slashes with little effort.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: Like his original, Clone Schmelman's reaction speed is his greatest and by far his most monstrous ability.
  • Mind Reading: In Chapter 70, it's seemly hinted that Clone Schmelman can reading mind just like Gespenst, as shown when he knew what Gespenst is thinking and told him that his plan on relying the clones to help them won't work.
  • Dual Consciousness: Clone Schmelman has the inherent ability to conduct multiple thought functions simultaneously and possess memories from more than one vantage point as is evidenced when he remembers Hina, Jail, Gespenst and Lyne being present 300 years prior while also remembering a past where they were not present[9]. Thus making him largely immune to the effects of Nana's ability on himself. He is also the only one exempt from Gespenst's ability to read minds because he claims that it is like he has two of them in his head, which in and of itself does not say he could not do so as much as it leads one to believe that Clone Schmelman is always considering every situation from multiple angles and calculates multiple scenarios from his course of actions and the potential variables that can change the outcomes of his plans, this immense and highly complex thought process and train of thought has rendered Clone Schmelman's mind to be too large, complex and gigantic for even the "Pierce" ability of Gespenst to instantaneously sift through.
  • Skilled Actor: Throughout the series, despite his different personality, Clone Schmelman managed to flawlessly trick everyone and act as the real Schmelman with no one suspecting or noticing his true identity being a clone, showing his immense skill in acting.
  • Combat Mastery: Like his original, Clone Schmelman is a master at close-quarters combat, able to take out Gespenst with ease.

Trivia[]
