Rare Warrior (希少な人間 Kishōna Ningen, lit. Rare Human) is the 14th chapter of Plunderer manga.

Plot[]

Hina was about to be killed by Alan. Before Alan could kill her, he was stopped by the man with wooden sword that Hina meet earlier. After the man saved Hina, he asks Alan about how can he randomly kill any person whatever he likes, Alan stated that's how soldiers used to be and kicked him. Alan then pointed his gun at the man and stated that he will kill him as well for disobey his will. Soon, there's someone who claimed that the headmaster has been taken as a hostage so Alan shouldn't kill Sakai Tokikaze, the man with wooden sword. Hina and the others look at him after the other man called him "Rihito", which is Licht Bach's other name that Sonohara Mizuka used to call him in present time. When they look at Rihito, they were confused at him as he has black hair and looks shorter than the one they knew, causes them questioning whether Rihito is really the same guy.

Schmelman wants to kill Rihito

Schmelman asked Rihito that if he seriously think he could kill him with a tree stick. Rihito then showed his magic for him and then scared, because he has no true weapon to use. Schmelman teaches him how to snap his neck and tells Rihito to kill him. Rihito states he won't kill him because violence isn't good. Aftear hearing his words, Hina and the others realized that Rihito and Licht is indeed the same person. Schmelman then states he would have no choice but kill everyone in the ceremony. Everyone except Rihito was scared at Schmelman due to his killing intent, while Tokikaze told Rihito to run away before Schmelman kill him. Before Schmelman could do so, he's stopped by Firenda, a female instructor, and reveals that it's all an act. The three newbies that Alan killed earlier is in fact still alive. Alan also revealed that the reason why they did that was because the newbies should not be scared at battlefield. Then, the instructors told the trainee soldiers it was time to eat lunch, although Schmelman doesn't want to end the ceremony yet, as he still hasn't finished reading the storybook. Alan tells him that they don't have much time to do it so the ceremony can be ended. Schmelman agreed and announced that everyone can eat lunch now. As everyone is happy that they can eat lunch, Hina and the others confusing and wondered why are they so happy.

After everyone went to eat lunch, Schmelman tells Alexandrov that there is "rare" warrior here, Alexandrov thought he was talking about Tokikaze, who he believed he was strong and fast. Schmelman stated that he was actually referring to Rihito, which make Alan confused and wondered why. Schmelman explained that while he's weak and a bit clumsy, he was able to react at the situation and preform his actions much eariler before everyone else begin to freak out and run away. He then asks Schmelman what they should do now, to which he replies that he wants to gives the newbies a fun school life.

During the lunch time, Jail Murdoch and Tokikaze went to the same table by coincident, Rihito saw them having a fight so he asked Tokikaze if Jail is someone he knew. Hina approached Rihito which he was confused as he haven't meet Hina yet until 300 years later. As Rihito and the others sits together, he stated that both Tokikaze and Jail has become friends real fast, which they disagreed. While eating, Jail wondering why Rihito looked totally different than Licht despite they're the same person and that what's the purpose Nana Bassler sent him into the past. As Jail had no idea what to do, he believed from now on they will stay together in the school for a while.
